Contract Renewal

Hi Guys,

I have just renewed my contract this morning with 02 for another 18months. Is it possible to cancel it again within a certain number of days? Thanks.

Re: Contract Renewal

I doubt it as it's a renewal, but you could ring and ask.

Re: Contract Renewal

It depends where you did the renewal. If it was in an O2 store, then no - but if it was with O2 Pay Monthly, it's possible you are covered by the 7 working day cooling off period. Contact 202 free from your O2 phone to discuss this.

If you did the renewal in a store, there is no cooling off period. Also there is new guarantee that you can cancel the renewal you did over the phone, but they will probably be able to help you anyway.

Re: Contract Renewal

I imagine it's between you and Apple then, more here:

You renewed in an Apple store? You'd need to revisit the store if you have changed your mind about renewing your contract, but just to warn you that when you renew or upgrade in a shop - you do not have a cooling off period. When you upgrade over the phone or online, you have a 7 working day cooling off period where you can change your mind.

In this case, it would depend on what the Apple store says - but expect the worst and hope for the best. From the link the user above me posted to the Apple terms and conditions, points 7.1 and 7.2 apply to you - and indicate that Apple may have a separate 14 day return/cancellation policy.
