Contract Expiring

Anonymous
Not applicable

My contract is due to expire on the 21st of August and i am thinking of getting a Tesco sim only deal as it offers 5 times the minutes i get at present with O2 and 5 times the data for half the price

i understand that i need to give 30 days notice to end the contract after it expires but can i do this now so that it expires around this time in August or do i need to do it after the expiry date so that the contract would end in Sept

thanks

I spoke to O2 and explained about the deal that tesco are offering and she agreed that O2 could not match anything near that so i was given a pac number and a link to claim any unused line rental when i switch, all very easy .

i have ordered the sim from Tesco so as soon as it arrives i can start the number porting and i should be good to go

would never have thought of leaving O2 but for their prices, £14pm for 50 mins and 100mb is too much when Tesco will give me 250 mins and 500mb for £7.50pm

Why didn't you just go to GiffGaff? For £2.50 more you would get double the minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Because i would have been paying more for minutes etc that i woudnt use, the reason for moving to Tesco in the first place was simply the price, i dont need 250 mins or 500mb of data but as that is what i get for the £7.50 then it will be more than ample for my usage

had i needed more minutes or data then GiffGaff would have made sense but i at the moment i would just be paying more and not using the allowance
