Contacts unable to call me but can text

Hi I have two contacts, that I know of, that cannot ring me. When they do they just get a constant bleep. They can text me and others can ring me. I have checked my blocked numbers. One of these people tried to ring me for the first time today and was unable to. If I look in recent calls, all calls from these two people show as 'Cancelled call'. Any advice much appreciated.

O2 had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago from contacts with EE and Vodafone....it seemed to resolve itself. Have you tried taking the sim out and cleaning it gently....Deleted those contacts then re-added them and then rebooted the phone?

Check again that you haven't inadvertently blocked them. Have they blocked you?..

Most likely a network issue.
Check here http://status.o2.co.uk/ but nothing will show if it's due to congestion. If the caller calls again it may well go through OK.

Hi Just deleted the contact, rebooted phone and re-entered but still not working. Phone does not ring at all and Recent calls says 'Cancelled call'. This has been going on for a few weeks now. Any ideas? Thank you

To be honest it sounds like a signal problem. I would check the network status or report it through the My Network app.

The best thing is there phone must know if the call to show it was cancelled, so not sure it isa signal issue, though that's the most logical explanation, removing the recent call element. Try you sim in a different phone and see if the issue persists

Still got issue, in fact now my daughter cannot call me since yesterday. That's five people I know of. I have not recently moved networks. Any other ideas? Thank you
