Complete new contract instead of upgrade

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have come to the end of my current contract and the best deals by far are new o2 contracts from an online provider not through o2 or via an upgrade on the high street. I will be staying with o2 but how do I keep my number? I don’t need a PAC code if I’m staying with the same network do I? Do I just call customer service to swap my number to my new contract and then cancel my other one? Thanks for any advice.

Yes, exactly as you say. Just call when you get your new contract but remember you have to give (or pay) 30 days notice on your current contract.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
