I was unable to use my mobile phone to make/receive phone calls or use the internet as there was no mobile network coverage until this afternoon i.e.over 5 hours.

I would like a refund for the non-availability of a mobile network.

The area affected BA14, SN12 and SN15.

@Tony8

I'm the answer will be near enough no, as mobile coverage isnt guaranteed and faults do occur.

This is stated in the T&C's.

4. The Services and Equipment we supply and what you can expect of us - Our Services aren't available everywhere in our Europe Zone. You should check predicted Network coverage in your area on our Website. The Services are not fault free, and features like speed and quality, for example, can be affected by things like the thickness and material of the walls of the building you're in, atmospheric conditions, technical issues with the Network and the number of people near you trying to access the Services at the same time. We will manage the Network in various ways. We use reasonable skill and care in providing you with the Services and will attempt to re-perform disrupted Services when possible. Details are in paragraph 2 of the Agreement.

You can try and get a sympathetic ear from Customer Services, but i wouldn't expect a result.

Customer Services can be contacted on 202 or 0344 809 0202

@Tony8 You won't find a network in the UK, or probably anywhere in the world that would guarantee 100% uptime. Loss of signal happens to everyone at some point. Your request for a refund will almost certainly fall on stony ground, but if you have the time to wait to speak to customer service you're welcome to try.

202 from your mobile or 0800 032 1402 are both free to call.

When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Best time to call is 8 am.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

@Tony8

How much is your airtime tariff per month?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
