I received a text from o2 with a code to retrieve my account but I did not request this informaiton.  Is this someone trying to access my acount?

I have changed my password on "my o2" app.  will that be sufficient enough?

Yes that's fine but you should still report it to O2 and keep an eye on your account for a few days.

Also don't fall for any scam calls asking you for the code sent to your phone from anyone.
