Claiming Rewards balance on Pay Monthly number?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

I accumulated £4.50 in rewards when I was on Pay As You Go with O2, but when I bought a new phone 2 years ago I switched over to Pay Monthly.

I recently got a message that this balance is about to expire - is it possible to claim this money as credit towards a future Pay Monthly bill?

Thanks!

Thanks for all the responses guys.

The original number was indeed transferred over to my new Pay Monthly account when I purchased my new phone.

I tried asking on webchat, but they insisted I had to claim the credit at the same time as I migrated to the Pay Monthly plan 2 years ago. Will try calling 202 and see if I have better luck!

For the sake of £4.50 i am sure in my own mind o2 will be fine with it.

Please do update us.

I'm sure they will have some sort of guidelines for this. The reward is still active so I can't see any reason why they wont transfer it. There again, it could depend on who you speak to and how far you are prepared to persevere if the first adviser you speak to doesn't help.

I would agree but it depends whether you deem £4.50 worth the trouble or whether it's worth the principle.

"Principle" for me.

Although I submit I personally would spend too much time chasing it.
