Choice Of Tariff

Want to buy the Nokia Lumia 800 of the O2 website but notice it comes with 2 tariff choices on micro sim which you have to choose when you order the phone, neither which I want as I am on the favourite place  tariff which suits my needs perfectly, will it be a problem when I swap my old number to the new sim and will my current tariff go with the change

You shouldn't have any issues with that. I presume a data plan is included on your tarif?

Only thing you can do is pay for a sim free phone without contract then transfer your tariff over:)
