I have seen deals on comparison sites u switch and compare the market with 8.99 deals with o2 , bit nothing on the official website   can u advise

The deals on the comparison sites are cheaper as they are designed to attract new customers as we'll as the comparison sites taking a commission as well as been given special deals.. 


If you are already a customer and out of your minimum term then you just do it as an upgrade, if in minimum term then you will need to pay off your contract first..

@Mazoid Done it 2 times to avoid annual price rises.

Just choose the deal you want and you will be passed to O2. It will ask if you are an O2 customer and if Yes do you want a new contract or upgrade.

Choose upgrade. No need for a new SIM and you will be moved onto the new plan

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
