  I have been using an app called connect. This allows me to send messages to a group of people using my message   Allowance. I’ve used this for five years and suddenly have been charged 41p For each message in the group. Has 02 changed their charging without informing anyone

No changes that we’re aware of but over 480 characters will always convert to an MMS with O2

I would contact the app developers, and see if they have made any changes to the App. 


As it seems like they are sending messages as MMS using the app via the o2 network rather than via Data
