I am currently in Kos, Greece and have O2 travel, for some reason I have been charged £4.16 does anyone know why?

I would guess your phone has roamed onto a Turkish network on one day.
Turkey is not in the "free" countries (ie, you can use your normal monthly allowance) but instead is charged for.
If you could come back to confirm @tina7 that would be great...

Did you add emojis to a TXT message, perhaps? That can make it into an MMS at 55p.

 

Sending a single sms to multiple people can do the same as adding an emoji or 3.

Did you roam onto a non-eu network briefly?

Did you use WiFi on a cruise ship?

All these cost, @tina7. Sadly.

Hi,I've spoken to O2 and it sounds like my phone did on 1 day enter into Turkey roaming!!! Im trying to see if I can claim this charge back

Just explain that it was unintentional and they will refund you.
Probably best to call them though rather than using live chat.

My knowledge of Greek geography is not too hot - but it looks like you've found the most plausible reason (happens a lot in Cyprus too) @tina7.
