I’ve just been on live chat and basically told that there’s no way I’d have been charged £6 (£2 per call) for calls unless they were received - but she hasn’t picked any up!! Sooo annoying as she’s trying to be so careful and said ‘they are lying!’ What could this be? She’s not called voicemail either. Any ideas?

If someone has tried to call your daughter whether the call was answered or not then the call charge stands as there is an international leg to the call back to Voicemail.
The only way to stop this happening is to put the phone into Airplane mode and just turn on wifi and bluetooth and leave it at that, but your daughter wont be able to receive sms either ..
This has been the case with roaming since the service was introduced..
There is nothing you can do to be fair, apart from pay for the calls..
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I find it weird that O2 themselves couldn’t give me this simple answer!
