"abroad" is a vague term - this tool tells you what you can expect to be charged, based on your type of service from O2 and your tariff/benefits: https://www.o2.co.uk/international/using-your-phone-abroad

It tells you there is O2 Travel, and O2 Travel Inclusive - two different products that work in different ways depending on the country you are visiting, @Winnie2003 - and if you were in Europe, no bolt-on is needed, you can, broadly speaking, use your allowance as you would at home - subject to a 63-day limit and a 25GB max allowance per month.

If you review the info in the link for the country you are/were visiting, and still have concerns about having been overcharged, then contact O2 via Social Media using any of the three ways in the link just below.

Good luck!

@Winnie2003

This is a customer to customer community, not O2, so we cannot access your account, sorry.

You need to contact O2.

Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (X)  (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract) 4445 or 0344 8090222 (PAYG)

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
