Charged for data within 50mb allowance? - O2 simplicity 300

Hi,

I just joined O2 simplicity 300 12 month, got the SIM in the phone all set up and ready to go.

While I was testing everything I connected to the internet and loaded a page to check it works; it does and my online account said I had used a small amount of my daily 50mb.  So far so good.

When I check this morning I have been charged 15p for the data and my daily allowance has reset to 50mb.  Surely this is incorrect?  I thought that up to 50mb per day was free, from memory I used roughly 0.5mb.

Am I missing domething?

Thanks in advance for any help.

That sounds like you haven't got a data bolt-on hence the charge. You can use up to 50MB and not be charged more than £1.

I see.  I understood it as 50mb a day included.  Thanks for clearing that up.
