So I was on O2 chat and requested a charge to bill cap of £20 to be added. Had confirmation this was done after one of the users on the account run up £270 additional charges on charge to bill. Ive now noticed that this obviously wasnt done as its currently sitting at £79 additional charges for charge to bill.
Is O2 liable for this now since they confirmed that the charge to bill cap of £20 was added?

I'm not sure how charge to bill works when there are multiple phones. Whether it is set for all phones on an account or each has to be done individually. Someone who knows will let you know.
However, if I saw bills like that I would make sure their phone was locked away and I would give them a dumb phone for contact purposes.
As to refund...I seriously doubt that

Yeah, the £20 limit I requested should have covered that... its charges from Playstation - the advisor confirmed the £20 cap would be the max.
