Changing the DD date??

Anonymous
Not applicable

There is a problem with the new contract that I have signed, in so much as that when O2 tries to take the money via DD from the bank, it takes 'two' DD's, one for the Handset, and the other for the Airtime.

This results in two failed direct debits, in my case, and puts £20 in the banks profit pocket, how can I change the DD date?

Failing which I will simply cancel the DD and set up a S?O at my end, so I control the payments and don't suffer the unlawful bank charges.

Just to add two direct debits is normal for a refresh contract but as said you can easily change the date

Did you do the contract in store?
I ask as they usually ask you what date is suitable then....?

No worries. Hopefully you've called CS and got it changed now anyway?

Some can get so caught up in the excitement of getting a nice new shiny phone things like dates can be lost in the amount of info being thrown at the customer imo.
