my contract with o2 runs out on December 26th, I want to then swap to a sim only contract and put the new sim in the same phone, obviously staying with o2, do I have to do anything to keep my number or does it just swap over automatically because it’s not changing providers

@Ash22

You just need to upgrade to a sim only in your MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 and everything will switch over on your sim without the need to do anything else.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Check your myO2 and it will tell you when you can upgrade.
