Changing phone midway through a contract

Do you know if it's possible to change your contract part way through your current contract. I have a basic Nokia and would like to change to an I phone or a similar model but I have only recently upgraded. Also I wouldn't want to pay much more than I'm paying now.

No you can't do that, you could sell the phone and buy an iPhone unlocked or locked to O2 and transfer your contract to it.

O2 Refresh contacts are designed for this, where you pay for the phone and the airtime separately.

The only way would be to pay off your remaining contract and take out another.

Best option would be to sell your current phone and put it towards the cost of a phone of your choice and carry on with your present contract.

Have the huawei p40 Pro, do not like as have no Google store, want another phone but cannot afford to pay contract off, any ideas
