Hi all I have 2 contracts with o2 one running out this year and one next year. The one running out this year is the number I use and I want to keep it when the contract ends. My question is can I transfer the number I use now over to the contract that ends next year so I only have one contract

Yes you can but as soon as the transfer happens the contract will end and a final bill will be generated. You will be paying off what you owe up to end date effectively.
Call customer service on 202 and they will process it all for you.

If you transferred the number now the contract running out this year would end and you would have penalties to pay as you would have to pay off the remainder until the minimum term. Plus the phone number on the contract due next year would be lost when you transfer your preferred number to it.
