Hi All,

Does anybody know if I can have another number assigned to my contract and have my number released with PAC code and then I can sign up to a new provider and let my daughter use the rest of my contract.

Hoping you can help.

Thanks

Sadly no.

Once the number is ported, the account is closed.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Even if you had a new number assigned to your contract, you would lose the old number as it would be the new number you pac out. This would end your currebt contract after you pay the device off.

Guide: How does O2 Refresh work?

However you could take out a new contract with another provider, pay off existing contract with O2 and let your daughter have the old phone with a sim only contract.

@Roofer

You need to contact O2.
All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
Or 202 from your O2 mobile.
Advice from an O2 Guru to get through:
When you call 202, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
