I currently have an iPhone under contract with o2.

I work in a poor area for o2 signal so are wanting to get another sim with a different provider and move the current o2 number to my new sim from the other provider, is this possible and then just get a new number allocated to this o2 sim?

@as51 If you mean moving your phone number to the new provider you'd have to cancel your O2 contract, which would require you to pay off what you still owe O2 on your current contract:

@as51

Make sure that you get some PAYG SIMs for the other networks and test them in the areas that you frequent. O2 might be poor in your area but you need to research what, if any, network is an improvement.
