Hello I have been trying to get help with this for the last month or so I have lung disease so it hurts to talk to people on the phone so I try and use the live chat or email

My contracts are about to expire and all I want to do is change them both from pay monthly to pay as you go. I don’t get enough use out of them to warrant the cost of a contract.

I just want them to get put onto pay as I go im not interested in any new contracts or other offers.
I am unable to answer the phone due to health issues and I have been trying to get in touch with someone via the live chat since Monday.

I tried last month and got through after a few days but was told I had to do it closer to the end day of the contract.
I really do not want to end up been charged silly amounts for using my phone while outside of contract I just want them moving over to pay as you go.

can i get a email address or something so i can actually get in contact with someone live chat is unavalible as busy since monday and im stuck here from 8 am till 8 pm waiting and i can not talk on the phone.
Thank you
Anthony.

Switching your number from Pay Monthly to Pay As You Go

We can take care of moving your number and even arrange for your new Pay As You Go sim. Get in touch by calling us on 202 free from your O2 phone, or on 0344 809 0202 from any other phone. We'll do the rest.

If you're on O2 Refresh you can only move to Pay As You Go once your Device Plan is paid. If you're not on O2 Refresh but still in your contract minimum term, you might need to pay a termination charge, and our Customer Service team can talk this through with you. You’ll receive your final Pay Monthly bill 14 days after you move to Pay As You Go. You’ll need to settle any outstanding balance.

Try hanging around the shop pages for a live chat pop up https://www.o2.co.uk/shop

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
