Hi - we have had a contract with O2 for over two years and we would like to change it to pay and go, using the same number. Is this possible? Thanks slight_smile

If your contacts have reached the end of there minimum term you can move to PAYG

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Thanks both - this is really useful! I went onto the live chat to try and work out what I ned to do (I have ordered a new 02 pay as you go Sim to swap over to when it arrives) but they wanted a password which I can't remember, and apparently they can't give me a hint, so we reached a bit of an impasse! Can I just cancel my contract then get a pac code to move the number over to the new sim? Thanks again for all your help slight_smile

@Janey81

They need the answer to your security question which you can reset in your MyO2 under your details.

You cannot use a PAC when staying with the same network and if you cancel, you risk losing your number.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
