I currently have an HTC One V Android phone on 24-mth contract on O2, due to end in June 14. I'd really like to get an iPhone 5c and transfer my contract to this, without incurring a cancellation fee. Is this possible?
Would it help if I bought the iPhone from say Apple store? And do simswap?

Hi bandofbrothers. Just as you said, I got the iPhone and went into O2 store. They gave me a nanosim and did a simswap and all working in less than 20 mins!
I did need to change mobile data APN to use mobile.o2.co.uk to get the 3G data working though, otherwise all good.

If you just speak to customer services they can change your data addon to the iphone one, then you can use the normal idata APN and get visual voicemail etc
