Changing from HTC Android to iPhone mid contract

Anonymous
Not applicable

I currently have an HTC One V Android phone on 24-mth contract on O2, due to end in June 14. I'd really like to get an iPhone 5c and transfer my contract to this, without incurring a cancellation fee. Is this possible?

Would it help if I bought the iPhone from say Apple store? And do simswap?

Yes you could buy the iPhone sim free and sim swap.

The swap would transfer your contract tariff and mobile number to the nano sim needed to fit in the iPhone 5c

The blank nano sim can be picked up from any O2 store.

No cancelation fees would apply.

You're welcome.

If you need any help with your iPhone then please don't hesitate.

Ask for a blank contract nano sim and they can do the transfer in store or do it here http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk

Hi bandofbrothers. Just as you said, I got the iPhone and went into O2 store. They gave me a nanosim and did a simswap and all working in less than 20 mins!

I did need to change mobile data APN to use mobile.o2.co.uk to get the 3G data working though, otherwise all good.

If you just speak to customer services they can change your data addon to the iphone one, then you can use the normal idata APN and get visual voicemail etc slight_smile
