Changing Business Account to Personal Account

Opened an account without O2 mid January, went on a 30 day rolling contract whilst I waited for my Vodafone contract to end, upgraded to a 12 month contract today but the account is a business account as apparently that's how it was set up in store, is there any way that I can change this to a personal account?

The only way is to get o2 to cancel it on the grounds of you been mis-sold.

Very unusual for O2 to mis-sell a business contract @MI5.? First time I have heard of this if honest....(directly from O2 I mean)

Some stores sell business accounts, my friends were given business accounts even though one was on disability and the other his wife looking after him. I think it was a franchised store that sold them.

Is there a better commission rate if you sell a business contract then?

Why are people not being told what type of account they're signing up to?

Some are, some aren't. Totally wrong but more money in your pay packet at the end of the month so it's a good incentive for a salesman to be less than upfront about a contract. Some use the technique of advising more benefits. That may have been true in days gone by but there is no advantage in a business account for a consumer, quite the reverse.
