Hello, I'm on a pay monthly contract and i'd like to know if, keeping my contract, I can change my mobile number because i don't think I can simply stop it and start a new one.

Yes you can get a new sim from O2 if you don't get one with the phone and they can move your account to it.

O2 allow you one free number change at any time.
