The only way is to cancel it and make him take a new contract in his name.
You can change payment from his bank account but as contract is in your name, you are liable if he fails to pay.

Yes, but as I said, they will still chase you if he fails to pay whist the account is in your name.

Log in to your MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 and goto manage my details.
Make sure you log in to the correct account.
If it's a refresh account with a device plan, you'll need to change those details with your bank or ith O2 customer service Guide: How to find help & contact O2

If the accounts are not connected in My O2 (ie.separate logins) then the verification code will go to your boyfriend's phone.
