Change from pay monthly to PAYG

I am currently out of the uk and will be for some time , my phone is seldom used , I got onto the chat and they said it was easy for me to change to PAYG,, I have just discovered they are sending out a new sim.. I can’t collect it... I can’t get in touch as I need to cancel this transaction, any ideas ?

Well so much for O2 sorting that out for me.. I am now stranded without a UK phone in Afghanistan 🙈 the person I spoke to yesterday said they would cancel the transfer from pay monthly to PAYG as I had no way of collecting a new SIM,, I need this for emergencies, online banking and even amazon as they all send codes via sms ...
