Carphone warehouse contract

I’ve been getting texts and calls from numbers saying they are with O2 and offering to buy me out of my existing contact so that I can upgrade early with O2. They can do this because me contract is with Carphone Warehouse. Does anyone know if this is legit?

o2 have been doing this for Carphone Warehouse customers since Carphone Warehouse no longer have any ties with o2

Best way to find out is to either log into myo2 or calling Customer Services on 202

If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

They will be partners trying to get you to sign up.

Never do so from a cold call and only update with O2 directly or you could end up with an inappropriate contract and no way out of it.
