Card Payment Not Accepted

I manually top up my phone every month through the website, no issues there. However I'd like to switch to a rolling plan and have it set up to direct debit. I've tried two different debit cards and both were rejected. Also tried different browsers. On my mobile, it asks me to authorise though my natwest app (so I know the card is connected to the bank), which I do. But after I confirm that, it tells me there was an issue. I'm not charged, but telephonica has made the connection to my bank by asking for authorisation. Any help?

For a start its not a Direct Debit, it is a sort of Continuous Payment Authority.

Note the early hours of a morning when o2 and most banks do maintenance work on their systems.

If Natwest dont come back in a timely matter or correctly then the payment wont go through, Also check your address and name match exactly what they hold.

I would also check with Natwest to see if they can see any issues,

It might also be worth speaking to o2 on 4445 and see if they can add the card to your account.

Tried again this afternoon and still wont work. I did just top up another £10 with the same card and had no issue so probably not a natwest problem. I couldn't get through to live chat as they said it was a PAYG issue and on the phone, I could not get through as it cuts off my call after about 2 mins.
