I'm away in Australia and want to cancel my contract but it won't let me call 202 for customer service and when my sister rang the number to cancel it for me they wouldn't let her do it and said I would need to come online and speak to someone via chat in order to have my contract cancelled. However I am 11 hours ahead of the UK so the chat is always offline when I am able to get on it. This issue needs sorting straight away as I am extremely disappointed with the customer care from o2 who I have been with for 12 years.

I just would like someone to pick up the phone during business hours for me to cancel my contract. I spent a total of 2 and a quarter hours in a queue yesterday without getting through. Live chat was down. I tried again this morning and I was back in a queue again. I hung up - there is a limit of on the number of times I want to listen to that Arctic Monkeys song!
