Hi everyone,**

I'm looking for some guidance on leaving O2 as my SIM-only contract is due to end on the 10th of June. I've read the guide on how to cancel, but I'm still a bit confused.

Do I need to give 30 days' notice, or can I simply request my PAC code, which will cancel my contract automatically? Will I receive a final bill later on?

Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

You don't need to give 30 days notice anymore @gazuk2015

Requesting your PAC does not cancel your contract - you would need to use it for that to happen. Once you PAC has been used you should get a text confirming the date the number will move, and you then get a final bill up to that date.

No notice required

Just use the PAC and this ends the contract

A final bill will be produced so don't cancel any direct debit until the account is zero

Cancel anytime

Hi, thanks for information.  My contract runs out on the 10th June, but my current bundle is upto the 5th. When would be the best time, to change things over ?

Any time in the coming week, early June, should be fine, @gazuk2015 - O2 charge a month in advance, so your final bill will refund pro-rata within about 5 weeks, as advised above.
