Cancelling - last bill

If my disconnect day was Oct 30, how many more bills will I have? Lastest bill online has billing period 07 Oct 2016 - 07 Nov 2016. When I click "download and print latest bill" from this page, it shows "Previous Bill" 08 Nov 16 - 07 Dec 16 for same amount. There is a difference in the display of the bill on the "latest bill" page vs. the "download and print" page.

Have you provided notice of cancellation as that will be 30 days from the date you contact cs & cancel your contract

My disconnect day was Oct 30. So yes, the notice of cancellation was done 30 days before this date. I think I found the answer. They bill me again 14 days after disconnect and then I will have a credit from the bill I just paid. Then they will transfer to my account or send a cheque. I wish I hadn't canceled the direct debit as I don't think their attempt to transfer will work. And then the cheque will go to a rental flat. Too bad this wasn't more simple.

@AnonymousInfo on cancellation here https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Cancelling-Your-Contract-A-Guide/m-p/566774/highlight/true#M56526

You need to give 30 days notice and your contract will terminate 30 days after that. !4 days later your final bill will be generated so you should leave your direct debit in place until O2 have taken final payment.

I was more thinking about if @Anonymous ended up with a default for cancelling the DD too early @jonsie

I gave my response to the ops first post. By the time I actually posted they had replied again. The fact I type slowly is of no relevance whatsoever...:smileysad:

It was edited for spelling..Rolleys
