Ok, so I pay 23 or so airtime monthly and have separate handset monthly roughly 400 left. I can see a sim only deal for £10 with everything I need. Am I right in thinking I could pay off the 400 and cancel the airtime, then take out the the £10 sim only ? Saving £13 a month?

Yes you can Guide: How does O2 Refresh work?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi @Andrewmcgawn

You don't need to cancel the airtime. If you have the option to Upgrade in My O2, choose the Sim only contract you want, and when you get to your basket you will be given the option to pay what you owe on your existing contract.

Alternatively, you can pay off the device plan, and then choose a sim only of your choice.

Guide: How does O2 Refresh work?

Make sure you choose UPGRADE though, as that will cancel the current contract.

(If you just choose sim only, you will end up with two contracts)

If you want to do this via an advisor then all contact numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support and choose the option to upgrade.

Hope that helps and welcome to the forum Welcome
