I purchased a simple mobile phone for my elderly mother and added the O2 Pay & Go SIM to my online account and managed it from there. She has now passed away and I want to close this SIM, there is a minimal balance of £12.45.
How can I close the SIM and can the balance be transferred to another of my accounts?
(Please do not suggest I phone Customer Services, there is never anyone in!)

I'd like to echo Bambino's sentiments on your loss.
If you really don't want to ring Customer Services even in off peak times then maybe Live Chat is the avenue for you.

Or e mail them

Again my condolences.

Sorry to hear of your loss, but if you don't call Customer Services, you won't have much chance of recovering your money. I wouldn't try to do this through Live Chat. You really should speak to someone. I have read posts of others who find that calling early in the day usually means a shorter wait to speak to someone.
