Cancelling Monthly contract

Anonymous
Not applicable

My 12 month contract ended on May 11th but I am still connected.

I have spent 3 seperate days trying to cancel this contract.  I've made 8 phonecalls, tried speaking to them via chat only to be continually transferred to the "retentions team" and left without response for up to 30/40 minutes at a time.  I've been advised by a manager the only way in which to cancel is to speak to the "retentions" team over the phone or by waiting to be transferred to them via chat.  It's absolutely impossible to get through to them and I'm currently on hold again, for 20 minutes in another vain attempt to get through...

Is there a more simple way of getting this cancelled?

Request your PAC then when you use it to switch to another network your contract will cancel immediately.

I'm not going to another network... was going to just go pay and go with 02 but definately wont be now Smiley Frustrated

I don't need the phone or number any longer - just dont want them to continue charging me for it at this stage

You'll just have to hang on or try at a quieter time.....

Looks like it... 😞

Though I won't be holding my breath - I've even tried in their "off peak" times when I've had a chance and still been left holding on the line.

Bad times

Hi everyone,

I have removed a few replies here in order to make sure the issue at hand is addressed rather than going off-topic slight_smile

Cheers, Toby
