I cancelled my contract and instead of it ending I’ve been put on a refresh tariff...do I need to phone and cancel again...I had to ring to cancel originally

I recently upgraded to a new device and sim but my old 02 refresh some is still active and I'm still having to pay for it is there anyway to cancel it as I no longer need it and to keep the number off z sim.

You need to call customer service and ask them to migrate your number to the new contract

That would end your old contract

If You need to call O2 then choose any of the options, fraud etc
Everything is taking longer due to the lockdown. Call centres and social distancing means limited staff to handle all the queries. Patience needed I'm afraid.
