Cancelled SIM Contract In Time But Receiving Bills

I signed up and cancelled a sim card contract within a few days of receiving the sim and within the grace period. I have the chat transcripts and confirmations from O2. Yet about two weeks ago I received a bill for a full year of service. I called them, explained and they agreed that yes it was cancelled in time and would get it sorted. Now, today I have received a text message telling me that the bill is overdue and that extra charges would he added if not paid in 4 days. I've had four lengthy conversations about this with O2. Why can't it just be sorted? Now I'm worried about getting a default on my credit score and I'm hoping to remortgage this year. I have so much personal stuff going on right now, this is really distressing.

Without a doubt, O2 have lost a customer for life as a result of this.

@Ntdvr

We have two account advisors on today. I'll tag them both and see if they are able to help.

@O2Georgina @O2Ellie are either of you able to help @Ntdvr?
