Cancellation of contract

Anonymous
Not applicable

Unfortunately I have had to cancel my new contract with O2 as I receive absolutely no signal within my house. The phone states that I'm not registered on the network, unless I'm in my garden.

having rung CS, they have stated that I am in fact only recieving 2G and not the 3G stated on the coverage checker.

why have a coverage checker if it is not accurate?

i need a phone for work and am now having to wait 72 hours to confirm that the contract has been cancelled before I can start a new contract. Really disappointed.

It's as accurate as it can be, it's not possible to know what the signal will be inside any property.

I would get a Pay and Go sim from the other companies and see which gives you the best signal before you take out another contract.
