Hi - I have a SIM-only account where I pay a set amount monthly by Direct Debit for a certain amount of data, messages and hours. I would now like to leave O2 and will be obtaining a PAC code. Do I need to give notice to O2? Can I just leave? What happens to my Direct Debit?

Many thanks

You need to follow the cancellation process which will close down your account.

O2 will stop your DD when complete.

Once you use your PAC code it triggers the disconnection process for O2, and they will then create a 'final bill' so don't cancel your direct debit until after this has been done.

If you don't use a PAC then you will need to give 30 days notice to leave and keep your direct debit until any final charges have been paid

No notice period is required once the minimum term has been met.
