So here goes.
I have an o2 contract which ends on the 13/03/2018.
My husband uses this contract but has just got his own contract with o2 but wants to keep the number from my contract.
I know I will need to call and get a PAC code and then he rings and gives them the PAC code and the number will get swapped over.
I guess my question is will I have to pay any fees or charges if I cancel before the 13/03/2018 or shall I wait to swap the numbers over.
On my o2 app it says there are no outstanding charges and I can upgrade for free anytime between now and the 18/04/2018. But as the husband wants a contract in his name he has taken out a new contract but wants the number off mine.
Hope this makes sense and the you for your replies 😊

You can do it now but as you need to give 30 days notice to end the contract your final bill will be for 30 days airtime.
You do not need a PAC though, you both need to be on a call to customer services where you need to ask them to migrate your number to your husbands new contract.
Once they do this, your final bill will be generated.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
