I've been absent-mindedly continuing to pay for a contract which I haven't used in over 4 years.
I have lost the paperwork somewhere down the line and I'm wondering how to cancel the contract.
Should I just cancel the direct debit?

@Bambino wrote:@bavdav If you cancel the Direct Debit, O2 will eventually send the debt collectors after you, and it will affect your credit rating, so that's not a wise idea. Follow the guide and cancel the contract using the correct process.
I was getting concerned for this also, its covered now though.
