I'm in 36 month contract, my airtime tariff has now unlinked from the device plan.
Does this mean I can ask O2 to cancel my airtime tariff, and continue paying for the device?
I want to stay on O2 but have a choice on which tariff I use, as the ones they offer me directly are really restrictive when I can see much better O2 deals.
I read on here that : 'OFCOM banned 36 month contracts so after 24 months your device and airtime are delinked, meaning you can cancel your airtime and continue paying for the device plan, without any penalties.'
O2 chat says no and says I need to pay the device plan off to get other tariffs offered.
Just very confused!
