Hi folks. Hoping someone can help as I can't get through to O2!
Was late paying my bill this month (no DD set up and so have to do manually. Working shifts so kept forgetting).
Realised I couldn't text at 10am yesterday. Paid immediately. Online info said it should take around 2 hours to be reinstated but outside hours is 4-8. It's been around 21 hours now. I can't ring customer services because my outgoing calls are being diverted (and the line it tries to transfer me to cuts out every time). Can't chat online to a guru. About to go back on shift!


Any help would be appreciated x

A network issue yesterday affected many O2 customers. 

Try ringing O2 again at 8am this morning, any of these numbers will do: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support. Once you get on the queue, wait - your call will be picked up.

The call centre opens at 8am hence it cuts you off, or diverts you to the payment line.

If you have skype you can call o2 on 0800 587 4005 or the payment team on 0800 902 0217

you dont need credit on skype to call 0800 numbers.

How frustrating and completely understand.

Good advice to call better number for an answer

unfortunately you will still need to stay and wait

but hopefully you will be successful before too long.
