Can't recieve text messages

Yesterday at around 11 am my data went down. I recently realised that I also couldn't recieve texts. This morning  I woke up and my data was working again but I still can't receieve texts. On the 02 status website it says the intermittent problems have been resolved. Anyone know why I can't recieve texts then?

The intermittent problems experienced by some of our customers today have now been resolved.

Routine upgrade work on our 2G and 3G networks led to unexpected congestion affecting around 1% of O2 customers. We apologise to those customers and thank them for their patience.

Remove your sim > wipe it down > replace and Soft reboot your phone.

Mine is the same..I can receive data and phone calls now but not texts. Not happy!

Have you tried rebooting the phone. Seems obvious but it helps to reset the network.
