Hi all,
I am unable to receive a verification SMS. I have tried my Sim on a different phone with the same issue.
I have no Spend Cap on my Account. Normal SMS seems to work fine. Calling 02 on 202 is very unhelpful.
This impacts so many things like Banking for example.

This can sometimes be the provider not actually sending the text, as we found out at my employers with the same thing, as SMS is not a guaranteed form of communication, and banks have been advised to stop using it, as its also insecure..
Check this guide Guide: Text Message Tips (not sent or received)
If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

I 100% are that ist insecure but it appears to all providers I work with. Banking to even say GSuite. I am able to get into some accounts fine as I have another way to get OTP or MFA. 202 Customer Services are useless at times and they either do not listen or just cant think past the screen in front of them.

The issue still persists today! Come on O2. Just called to get a PAC to move my number as I have had enough. Been advised they can only send via SMS. No SMS from O2 will come through.

This is what happens when Staff no longer want to work in Customer Services, as they are sick of being abused and threated by the great British public every day, and so the only option is to outsource to BPO's in India and the Philippines, and these staff are not allowed to go off script...
If you want UK Customer Support it will cost you, and dont expect any different from Voda or Three...
