Can’t find dd payment

Had a txt to say bill had not been payed, but dd came out of my bank on 29th.. gave o2 the payment code, but they still can’t find the payment

Have you actually spoken to O2 about this as there is a scam text going around claiming to be from O2.

I've had exactly the same thing yesterday. Loging to MyO2 also displays a warning about account being overdue. My bank shows the monthly direct debit was collected in the usual way. Its not a scam text because although I was unable to contact Customer Services (call times out) I did get some response via the live chat who also said they could see an outstanding payment. When I asked why when the direct debit had been collected in the normal way, they eventually said they would try and trace it!

 

Something has gone wrong with their accounting systems I think and I hope they will sort it out before blocking or otherwise limiting my account for non-payment!

We have had 3 or 4 similar reports this week so yes, it's possible there is a system issue somewhere.
One for us all to on the look out for.......
