Has a setting been changed on your phone, @waldelis (eg. https://www.samsung.com/pk/support/mobile-devices/unable-to-make-international-calls/ )
If your phone is not set to prevent international calls, and it is common across different international numbers, and you are using the correct number format ( "+" followed by country code followed by number) dialled manually (not from your phone address book!), then it could be a problem at the receiving end, a busy network, or possibly an issue with your account, which you will need to cal O2 about, on 202 after 10am today, as nobody here can access your account. Good luck!

Same problem. Cannot call Lithuania from any O2 number/device for the last few days. Can call Norway, so it's not all international calls that don't work. Can call Lithuania from networks other than O2, so it's not a matter of a busy network or a problem at the receiving end either.

And you have definitely dropped the leading 8 in the Lithuanian number, @Wandusia?

Yes, definitely. It's +370 rather than 8, as I've been calling these numbers for many years

Thank you for the suggestion, I'm well aware of different Apps and use them as much as possible, however few of my dearest do not use smart devices, therefore the telephone line is essential to reach out for them

We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from here.
Give O2 a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202.
Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.

I tried to call from a completely different O2 account and encountered the same problem. The thread starter also has the same problem. Therefore, I don't think the issue is with my account specifically and don't see why O2 would need to access it.
Also, with those social media links, are you suggesting I'm not communicating my issue on the right channel? Do O2 staff not browse this forum?

@waldelis The forum is community lead and forum staff have a very light touch, and off course we have had the Christmas break.
202 or social media are the quickest way to get help
I'll see if a duty advisor can help
