Can't Top Up

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

Brand new phone, picked it up today - I can't seem to top up. I've received texts from o2 etc, so the sim seems to be activated, but I've had payments from two different cards declined. Have I missed a step in set up?

You can also top up using your banks ATM Machine or their app

As said, first top up needs to be via a voucher (for some odd reason)

It's best to contact CS to register your card to your account but as said - first top up with a voucher or at an ATM.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I joined O2 about 7 months ago and can never top up with a credit card, each month I go out to buy a voucher. Sometimes I forget my big bundle credit is running out and have to go out specially to get a voucher. It is very inconvenient and the one annoying down side to using O2. I have tried speaking to CS and am still having problems. What can I do? Pleas help!

Your card obviously hasn't been registered to your account. Why this should still be happening after 7 months I have no idea....You can set up automated payment via My O2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

Have a look at this guide...it may give you more ideas...

http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Discussions-Feedback/Ways-to-pay-guidelines/m-p/874982

but if you want to use your card you have to persevere by contacting CS
