Can I use my O2 contract sim in another tablet/phone?

I am only 6 or 7 months into a new contract for £15 per month with a Wildfire, memory driving me nuts so rather than get a kindle for reading books I read you can use a sim in a Samsung Galaxy Tablet for calls & i could read my books etc on it & not have to keep wiping all my caches & histories every other day like I have to to be able to use my wildfire (I also have moved as much as i can to the SD but it doesn't help & is driving me potty).

Does o2 have any rules about this & will my sim fit before I go & buy the Samsung Tab?

As long as your new device is not restricted to a different network, your sim card should work just like with your Wildfire. Make sure that it's the same size, eg. MicroSim or standard Sim card.
